Few occurrences in life can be an painful and difficult as divorce. When IRS tax debts are involved, they can be even more difficult. That is where a tax resolution consultant can provide a tremendous amount of guidance. Family law attorneys do not like to wade into taxes and look for someone to help advise them and their clients on tax issues in divorce. This webinar will explain the most common areas of concern with taxes and divorce. From items as simple as filing status and claiming a dependent to Innocent Spouse filings and Offers-in-Compromise, attorneys are always looking for help. ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Patrick H. Wanzer, CPA, CTRC
Patrick is a native of Indianapolis, IN and currently resides in the Eastside Indianapolis neighborhood of Irvington. Patrick is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Masters Degree in Professional Accountancy. Patrick has been a CPA for ten years and has spent the last eight years helping clients stand up to the IRS. Patrick focuses his practice on IRS Tax Resolution and helping clients find ways to effectively resolve their tax issues. Whether through an Offer-in-Compromise, Installment Agreement, Currently-Not-Collectible status, or some other option, Patrick has helped many clients regain their financial footing. Along with being a CPA, Patrick is a Certified Tax Representation Consultant and a Platinum Member of Tax Rep LLC. He co-hosts the Midwest Tax Representation Conference in Indianapolis each fall. Patrick also authored his first book “Break-Free From the IRS – How to Resolve IRS Tax Debt and Reclaim Your Freedom” this past August. In his spare time, Patrick likes to read, watch football, and spend time with his wife Kimberly and dog Lucy.
