Today’s podcast is a little bit different than usual, a little bit special, too: We have a guest host! Gwen Moore will be interviewing Immigration Attorney, Vivian Khalaf, as well as Civil Rights Attorney, Lana Nassar.
It’s true: When you have immigration issues and tax issues, things get very interesting. This week’s podcast will be covering issues that arise in immigration cases. Specifically, Gwen and her guests will cover topics that include taxation and U.S. persons, taxation and non-U.S. persons, and what the implications of those intersecting areas are.
To give you a little bit of background, Guinevere “Gwen” Moore is a tax controversy and tax litigation attorney in Chicago, Illinois. This is her first—but definitely not her last—podcast for the Tax Rep Network.
Interestingly enough, Gwen already knew Vivian and Lana prior to speaking with them on the podcast. In fact, she had the privilege of working with them on a case that had to do with both immigration and tax. That is how the conversation begins, and from there, things only get more interesting!
