What is the RCP calculation?
Reasonable Collection Potential, or RCP is the formula used by the IRS to determine the taxpayer\’s collectability. It is the formula used to calculate what kind of Offer the IRS will accept, and it factors in the taxpayer\’s net equity in assets and their future income (household cash flow less allowable expenses).
