TRN Special Fundraiser

[Fundraiser] Handling an IRS Office Audit

Wednesday, September 18, 2024 |  1pm – 3pm Eastern | via Live Webinar

2 Hours for EAs and CPAs

This program is a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund for Women, Words & Wisdom, a 501(c)(3) charity.

In this special program attorney Eric Green is joined by his Tax Rep Member and former IRS Audit Supervisor Jo-Ann Weiner to bring some clarity to tax professionals on how to handle an IRS office exam from initial notice to audit closing letter. Attendees will walk through the process from the IRS side and see what the IRS expects in terms of support and explanation, and how to handle missing documents and reconstruction issues. Get the inside scoop from the woman who managed both office audits and revenue agents in the field, and went on to handle all of the restitution based assessments from criminal tax cases on behalf of the IRS.
