How hard is it to get an offer with the IRS?

It is not hard IF you can properly identify those taxpayers that qualify. The reason most Offers are rejected is because the taxpayer either was not a good candidate, or the information was not presented in the proper way. The IRS will try and determine the taxpayer\’s RCP and review any public policy reasons for either accepting or not accepting the Offer. If the taxpayer can meet the requirements for acceptance (compliance, unable to full-pay and Offer equal to or greater than RCP) the Offer should be accepted.
