How many months of bank account statements should we include with the Offer package?

The package should include, at a minimum, three recent statements and supporting documents. You can include more documents and statements and should consider doing so if it helps your client. For instance, knowing the IRS will add up the bank deposits and compare that to the reported income, it might make sense to provide 12 months of statements if the taxpayer\’s work is seasonal. We would not want to only provide the latest three months if those show an increased number of deposits if it is the clients busy time.
