What is the minimum you can offer?

There is no minimum you have to Offer in terms of dollars, though it cannot be zero. The IRS calculates the taxpayer\’s Reasonable Collection Potential, and the taxpayer\’s Offer must meet or exceed this amount to be accepted by the IRS.

Offers-in-Compromise
- Do you charge for consultations, and if so what do you provide to justify that consult fee?
- I am a newly enrolled agent (EA) and would like to go into practice on my own. Is an EA designation enough? Or do I need to get another license and become a CPA?
